From BioInstrumentation Lab

The BioInstrumentation laboratory was founded in 1985 at McGill University by Prof. Ian W. Hunter. In May 1994 the laboratory moved to the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MIT, along with five graduate students. In the last twelve years the laboratory quickly expanded in space, facilities and breadth of projects.
